Passengers using the Cobourg Transit stop at D’Arcy Street and Elgin Street East now need to board one block farther south. The change took effect Friday, September 25, according to the Town’s September 24 transit notice.
Where to wait
The new stop is on D’Arcy Street, just north of Burnet Drive. It applies to both the fixed-route stop identified in the notice as 00:17 and the on-demand service stop.
The Town says crews are installing a temporary transit sign. The existing shelter is scheduled to be removed Monday and reinstalled at the new location as soon as possible. The announcement does not give a completion date for that reinstallation.
Planning a journey
